Origin of Sin: The Full Untold Story
In the spring of 2020, twitch streamer wayneradiotv and friends created a series called Half Life: VR but the AI is Self Aware. This series birthed Benrey, a character based off of the Half Life security guard model and played by Scorpy. On May 27, 2020, twitter user @buggleboos posted art of Benrey depicted as a small blob that Scorpy later retweeted.
Later, on June 19, 2020, Scorpy streamed the premiere of the Gameclam. It featured drawings by Logmore of creatures called "joglets". The wayneradiotv server was quickly inundated by pictures of these creatures - as well as Benrey drawn in a similar style (reminiscient of @buggleboos' drawing), which was called a "Benlet". However, as the wayneradiotv server was reset in 2021, these were lost.

On May 5, 2021, when a friend of mine was visiting me, I drew the HEV suit from Half-Life with the proportions of a character from Among Us and then removed the beast's coverings.
Friend Pivot modeled him in zbrush with unprecedented speed. I was in awe of the power of this depiction. It cemented him as a feature of our psyche.

Not long after, I got the urge to play Spore, after my foray back into Amazing Island. I considered it my mission to recreate Gordog in any game with a creature creator. However, @buggleboos depiction of Benrey was on my mind. I ended up creating a beast which I named only "benrey".
My attention, and the attention of my friends, whom I was streaming for, was quickly captured by him. However, I was bothered by how terrible he looked. So, after downloading more mods for Spore, and with the direction of my friends (the pink pawpads and cheeks were jaymes' idea), I created a new creature, who I named "benlet". He later recieved a paint job to give him back his "boots", which you can see at the top of the page.

The rest is history. He captured our hearts and minds. My friends and myself have drawn countless pictures of him.
He is Benlet.
